The Big Bike Trip NZ: Bali to London

Listen to Freddie, Arthur and Sean talk through their epic bike touring journey from Bali to London, managing back pain, breakups and and trying to raise $1 per kilometer travelled.

Freddy, Arthur and Sean share their big bike trip taking them from Bali all the way to London.

With a mission to raise money for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand they set a target of $1 per kilometre, which is over 23,000km by the way, the endurance a life on the road they have been dreaming of for over 10 years.

At the same time, there was another part of the trip that had another purpose. With Sean shooting the whole trip with his insane photographic ability, Freddy making a documenting through his journal and Sean piloting the drone, there was another goal. Get a book publishing deal.

I don’t think anyone touring trip ever ends just like that. It’s always with you, it has an impact on you, so it will always affect your day-to-day for god knows how long. It changes the way you behave as a human and interact with people. I don’t think the trip will ever really leave you. - Fred Giles
